What could truly intrigue companies and private equity firms? A chance for companies to assess their value in the private or public marketplace—no strings attached. The idea is to present a PE firm with essential, straightforward materials—five years of financials, basic metrics, and a summary (no lengthy pitches or PPMs). The PE and companies could meet in a civilized no pressure environment about things that would increase enterprise value. NLDR will arrange meetings for financiers, professionals and companies based on their interests.
Who benefits:
Companies: They get insights from top market experts.
Private equity sponsors: Quality conversations with potential portfolio companies.
Society: Capital formation is beneficial to society.

Nicholas Levenstein
A few years ago, I spent three years running a computer consulting company before selling it to a large East Coast publisher. While working there, I happened to watch Barbarians at the Gate and thought, “Wow, you can buy companies with other people’s money.” The next year, I secured an agreement to purchase 66% of a company that had approached me while at the publisher.
My father said raising money would be easy (it was—I found investors in two weeks) but warned that closing the deal would be hard. He was right. Six months of tough negotiations with shareholders, bankers, relatives and previously unkonwn subsidiaries followed. But it was the most exciting thing I’ve ever done. Acquiring a great, growing business and eventually selling it is incredibly rewarding.
In Indonesia’s promising economy, with its population, resources, and internet penetration, many great companies are still under the radar. Yet, Indonesia attracts only a fraction of the private equity investment the U.S. receives. Are those barriers still valid in 2024? Let’s explore with real financiers, business owners, and professionals.
Why this conference? Because I want what you want: stakes in great companies in a growing economy. Let’s have real conversations to discover what’s possible.
