The Highlight: Introduction to Sam Bankman-Fried ("SBF").   During the interview, Michael Lewis shared an intriguing encounter with Sam Bankman-Fried, often referred to as SBF. This introduction occurred as a favor to a Wall Street friend who was interested in swapping shares with SBF.

The Fascinating Story Unfolds: Lewis's research on SBF led him to meet him at his office in Berkeley, where he humorously described SBF's appearance, sporting a "mop of hair" and a penchant for dressing as if he were ready for a hike, despite never having been on one. After meeting SBF, Lewis confidently told his Wall Street contact, "Do the deal, what could go wrong?"

Little did Lewis know that a week later, FTX, a significant player in the cryptocurrency space, filed for bankruptcy. This unforeseen turn of events provided a fascinating ending to Lewis's narrative. To add to the intrigue, Lewis was offered movie deals based on a book that had yet to be written.
