Nicholas Levenstein

Nicholas Levenstein - PhotoPrior to his career in finance, Nicholas Levenstein was a management consultant, working with AT Kearney and eventually with his own practice.  His clients included Hambrecht and Quist (purchased by JP Morgan Chase), Charles Schwab and Company and Fleet Boston Robertson Stephens, as well as a few non-financial corporate clients such as Salton, Inc.  In 1996 Mr. Levenstein arranged a buyout of Columbus, OH based Resume-Link, which was sold three years later to the Tribune Company yielding a 96% IRR for investors.  He served as a board member and president from 1996 to 1997.

From 2002 through 2007 as President of Mongoose Capital, Inc., a real estate and, primarily, auto finance company, Mr. Levenstein oversaw development of computer systems, personnel and procedures.  He also arranged a $15,000,000 secured credit line for an affiliated special purpose entity that loaned to "buy here - pay here" dealers.  GAAP Audited financial statements for the special purpose entity are available for 2003 through 2006.  In 2007 the assets of the special purpose entity were merged with an affiliated entity.

Mr. Levenstein has a BA (cum laude) from Yale University and an MBA from UCLA.  He is interested in Piano, French horn, Flying, Yoga, Boxing/Martial Arts and languages.

 

Natalia Morozova

Iqbal Mohammed Hussain - PhotoNatalia Morozova, originally from Debutatsky, Yakutia, Russia, is in charge of collections and underwriting for Mongoose Income Fund, LLC. Natalia attended Samara State Academy of Economics and has a degree in Global Economics. In addition to her work at Mongoose, Natalia was previously an accounting manager at an auto repair facility, a regional program manager for a language school and a tax accountant in a public notary office.

 

 

 

 

Zhaoyu Tan

Zhaoyu Tan is in charge of portfolio acquisition for Mongoose Income Fund, LLC. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Drake University with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Actuarial Science. As an Actuarial Science major, Zhaoyu applied his risk management and statistical skills in his daily job functions such as pricing analysis and risk management.

Zhaoyu was born in Malaysia and speaks English, Mandarin, Malay, Cantonese and Hokkien. He was honored to become a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society recognizing of business excellent, in 2011. He is a squash player and was awarded “top ten most promissing squash players” in Squasharthon Malaysia 2008.

 

 

Akankshya Thapa

Iqbal Mohammed Hussain - PhotoAkankshya Thapa works as an Underwriter at Mongoose Income Fund, LLC. She has received her Bachelor of business administration in Finance and Marketing from Apex College with a 3.82 GPA. Prior to Mongoose Income Fund, LLC she has worked at CG Developers (A multinational Real Estate firm) as an administrative assistant for a year and also as a head of customer service at various retail chains while in Texas.

Her hobbies include swimming, reading novels, and watching movies in foreign languages.

 

 

 

Mason Zou

Julie Stroup - Photo Mason Zou works in Client Service and Investor Relations at Levenstein, Vaceva & Company, LLC. Prior joining LVC, Mason worked at Illinois Business Consulting as an Investment Consultant, specialize in risk management and portfolio management. Mason graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a MS in Finance degree in 2010. He also holds a MS in Chemistry degree from New York University. 

Mason is currently pursuing his CFA designation. He was awarded the CFA Institute Student Scholarship in 2011, and has passed CFA Level 1 with performance above 70% in all topics.

Mason was born and raised in China. He is interested in Investing, Start-ups, Radio Controlled Helicopter, Sky Diving, Shinkendo, Starcraft II, and Guitar.
